Jetline Travel Ltd ATOL 6153 has ceased trading as an ATOL holder on 6th March 2025.

Bookings sold as accommodation only, Non-flight Packages & Cruise Only Bookings which do not include a flight element are not protected by the ATOL scheme.
We understand that Jetline Travel Ltd acted as agents for other ATOL holders, these bookings are not protected under the ATOL of Jetline Travel Ltd. You should have been issued with an ATOL Certificate, check under the ‘Who is protecting your trip?’ section, this will show who the ATOL holder is. If the protector of your trip is still trading, you should contact that ATOL holder for further assistance.
An ATOL protected flight inclusive package protected by Jetline Travel Ltd
Your ATOL Certificate will say either ‘Package Single Contract’ or ‘Package Multi-Contract’ in the bottom right-hand corner. Jetline Travel Ltd’s ATOL number 6153 will also be shown in the box to the left of this.
If you are currently overseas and you hold a schedule flight e-ticket, the flight remains valid for the return journey. You are advised to check-in with the airline as per the existing flight ticket.
The CAA is speaking to the service providers for the other elements of your trip to ensure these continue as planned.
When completing the ATOL claim form, select the claim type as “Overseas at the time of the ATOL holder’s failure” where you will be directed to a downloadable PDF claim form.
If you have an ATOL flight inclusive package booking and have been issued with flight tickets, the flights may be valid for travel and passengers are advised to check with the airline.
If the airline confirms you have a valid ticket for travel, you have two options:
Option 1
If you do not wish to use your flight, you can submit a claim for a refund for the amount you paid for your ATOL protected package with Jetline Travel Ltd (depending upon your original method of payment).
Also applicable for passengers with non-valid flights.
If you originally paid Jetline Travel Ltd by credit card, you should submit a claim to your credit card provider.
You may submit a claim to ATOL for all other payment types.
Methods of payment
Original payments by credit card:
If you originally paid Jetline Travel Ltd by credit card, you should submit a claim to your credit card provider. We have provided an ATOL Negative Response Letter to assist your claim with your credit card provider.
Original payments by credit card and other methods:
If you paid for your original trip by credit card and other methods to you should submit a claim to your credit card provider for the portion you paid by credit card, and to ATOL for payments by other methods. The amount you can claim from your credit card provider will be capped at the value of your original credit card transaction.
We have provided an ATOL Negative Response Letter to assist your claim with your credit card provider.
Original payments made using other methods only:
If you paid for your original trip by any method other than credit card, you should submit a claim to ATOL.
Option 2
You may use your flight and if you are asked to pay again for the other services that formed your original package, you may claim for the cost of the replacement service elements (subject to how you originally paid).
Services have not been paid to the local suppliers and you will be required to re-arrange and pay for these services again. To avoid any issues in resort, you should confirm the cost of all the services in advance of travel as there is a limit to the amount you can claim. The replacement items must match the original booking or be of the same standard (board basis, room type, tour) as the original.
Methods of payment
Original payments by credit card:
If you originally paid Jetline Travel Ltd by credit card, you should submit a claim for the value of the cost of the replacement elements to your credit card provider. The amount you can claim from your credit card provider will be capped at the value of your original credit card transaction. Therefore, if your replacement element claim exceeds this sum, you may claim the remainder from ATOL. Please note claims cannot exceed the value of the original payments made to Jetline Travel Ltd.
We have provided an ATOL Negative Response Letter to assist your claim with your credit card provider.
Original payments by credit card and other methods:
If you paid for your original trip by credit card and other methods to Jetline Travel Ltd you should submit a claim to your credit card provider for the portion you paid by credit card, and from ATOL for payments by other methods. The amount you can claim from your credit card provider will be capped at the value of your original credit card transaction or the value of the replacement elements, whichever is the lower amount. You are advised to confirm with your credit card provider prior to travelling to establish what your claim entitlement amount is.
Your total ATOL claim entitlement is for the value of the replacement elements, up to the cost you paid for your original trip, minus the amount originally paid by credit card.

Original payments made using other methods only:
If you paid for your original trip to Jetline Travel Ltd by any method other than credit card, you should submit a claim to ATOL.
Warning
Please note that if you choose to travel and use your valid flight, you are not protected under The Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018 as your package travel provider has ceased to trade. You will therefore be responsible for any risks arising from each individual element of your trip which would have previously been protected.
When completing the ATOL claim form
Option 1: select “Forward booking and claiming a full refund”.
Option 2: select “Forward booking but used an element of the original booking”.
Your original booking documents and evidence of payments may assist you in completing the claim form.
Do not submit these documents when completing your claim form, we will request these from you after your claim has been verified.
When completing the ATOL claim form:
- Use your ATOL Certificate Number (Booking Reference), found on the bottom left corner of the ATOL Certificate.
- (Options 1 and 2) List all the payments you made for your ATOL protected booking.
- (Option 2) List all the payments you made for the replacement elements and deduct the value of the payments for your original booking (amounts not claimed for) to ensure your claim is for the cost of the replacement service elements.
- (Options 1 and 2) In addition, if applicable, deduct the value of payments made by credit card which you are claiming from your credit card provider.
If your ATOL protected booking was cancelled prior to Jetline Travel Ltd ceasing to trade as an ATOL holder and you are awaiting a refund, you may submit a claim to ATOL depending upon your original method of payment).
If you originally paid Jetline Travel Ltd by credit card, you should submit a claim to your credit card provider.
You may submit a claim to ATOL for all other payment types.

If you paid for your original trip to Jetline Travel Ltd by any method other than credit card, you should submit a claim to ATOL.
When completing the ATOL claim form, select the claim type as “Outstanding refund.”
Your original booking documents and evidence of payments may assist you in completing the claim form.
Do not submit these documents when completing your claim form, we will request these from you after your claim has been verified.
When completing the ATOL claim form:
- Use your ATOL Certificate Number (Booking Reference), found on the bottom left corner of the ATOL Certificate.
- List all the payments you made for your ATOL protected booking as well as any refund you have already received from Jetline Travel Ltd.
- If applicable, deduct the value of payments made by credit card which you are claiming from your credit card provider and/or any refund you have already received from Jetline Travel Ltd to ensure your claim is only for the amount outstanding.
The time limit for making a claim to ATOL by 5th March 2026.
The UK CAA has the power to prosecute offences related to its statutory functions. Person(s) who make fraudulent ATOL claims, following the failure of an ATOL holder, may be prosecuted by the UK CAA for offences under section 1 of the Fraud Act 2006. The maximum sentence for this offence is 10 years’ imprisonment.
